About the Job
We are seeking Black / Mixed youth actors to portray the struggles of growing up in the hood in Chicago. This role may involve: Teens (14–18): Scenes of street life, peer conflicts, grief, and exposure to violence. Younger Boys (5–13): Depicting childhood in tough environments — neglect, fear, witnessing arguments, and being around prop weapons. One Girl (10–12): Observing an older exotic dancer (no participation, just watching). Performances will involve emotional reactions (fear, sadness, anger, neglect) and being in proximity to prop guns and mature environments.
