About the Job
The Neighbor is a cautious, slightly nosy older man who initially assumes the Asian teen might be up to no good. He watches from across the street, appearing suspicious but not malicious — more clueless than hateful. On set, the actor will perform simple outdoor scenes: reacting from afar, observing Jason, delivering a brief line of concern, and later showing remorse in a short apology moment. He provides the "bystander perspective" of the neighborhood.
