Project Details
When a broken former MMA phenom crosses paths with a resilient Army veteran, a chance encounter ignites a spark that neither of them expected. Haunted by betrayal, loss, and a past he can’t escape, Miguel DeLeon is forced to confront the demons that ended his career and shattered his identity. As old rivalries resurface and tensions boil over, Miguel finds himself pulled back into a world he swore he’d left behind. With everything on the line, he must decide whether to remain a prisoner of his past or fight for a future worth believing in. Packed with heart, action, romance, and redemption, RESURGENCE is a gritty, inspirational vertical drama in the spirit of Rocky, Never Back Down, and Cobra Kai, a story about second chances, finding purpose, and discovering that the strongest battles are fought within.
